Bombay Palace Vegetarian Restaurant, Surawong, Bangkok

views

Bombay Palace has been one of out favorite places to eat vegetarian food in Bangkok for many years. The old restaurant shut down because the land is being redeveloped but they’ve opened up at another location just around the corner.

Bombay Palace is small family run restaurant that only seats around 15 people, but it’s well worth a visit if you like Indian vegetarian food. All the food is cooked to order, so sometime you have to wait a while, especially if you go at a busy time. It is worth the wait though.

Above are two of my favorite dishes – Aloo Gobi and Dal Tarka.

As you can see from the menu above, prices are very reasonable for an Indian restaurant in Bangkok.

While the street address of Bombay Palace is Soi Puttha Osot, the restaurant is actual down a small lane of this street. If coming from Mahesak Road, turn into Soi Puttha Osot and you’ll see a small lane to your left after about 100 meters. Once you turn into that lane, Bombay Palace will be facing you.
