Born in 1989 to  Michaela Constantine and Kamen Dobrev in Bulgaria, Nina Dobrev is a well-known Hollywood actress and Model. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada at the tender age of two and was raised there. She has one sibling (Alexander Dobrev).

She went to Vradenburg Junior Public School and J. B. Tyrrell Sr. Public School and later attended Ryerson University to major in Sociology. From an early age, she was interested in drama and arts. She learned ballet and gymnastics in her early life and also took acting classes.

In 2006 she began her career in acting and has been a part of the entertainment industry since then.
