Is staying in Lisbon one month worth it?

views

A trip to Lisbon is definitely worthwhile. You won’t need a lot of time to get a feel for the place, despite the fact that it is a hip, young city and a popular option among corporate travelers, mid-term projects for companies, investors, business people, and digital nomads.

There are other locations in Portugal besides Porto that are deserving of more of your time. Even if you take your time traveling through Portugal, we would recommend setting aside only a little bit of time for Lisbon. Monthly rentals are not very expensive, so investing in a one-month stay is much more feasible.

How Much Time Do You Plan to Spend in Lisbon?

Spending exactly one month in Lisbon is the perfect length of time there. This will give you sufficient time to see all you want to see in the city center while still allowing you some downtime to rest at the end of the day. A serviced apartment rental is always a good choice for travelers that have lots of luggage to stay in Lisbon.

If you only have a few days, you will have enough time to explore Lisbon, but you won’t have as much time to spend at coffee shops, taking long walks, or participating in activities. A fully furnished apartment in Lisbon will allow you to have as many different experiences in the city as possible, which will lead to a much more enjoyable trip. If You Are Independent or Live Alone

If you’re traveling solo or alone, we recommend a longer stay in Lisbon, if at all possible. We don’t recommend staying for more than a few weeks to avoid the jetlag you will experience. For us, we like the idea of having a variety of places to choose from and leaving one week during the day to relax and take it easy, while still enjoying all the activities in Lisbon that you want to do.

Spending a little longer means you’ll have more time to spend at cafes, take advantage of the cafes that serve a wide variety of coffee, and get to know Lisbon better. All of the people you meet while traveling will make you feel welcomed and you’ll feel at home in the city. We find it interesting to explore different parts of the city in my off-time, and it helps us grow as a person.

Rental Apartments in Lisbon Are Fully Furnished.

The one thing you need to look at before you rent a place in Lisbon is the quality of the services the apartment you choose to rent will provide. Most apartments in Lisbon are nicer than a hotel room or a house. There are even some apartment buildings that offer apartments for rent, complete with breakfast, gym, swimming pool, indoor pool, sauna, and a private outdoor barbecue area.

It’s important to take your time looking through the apartment options in Lisbon and find the one that will allow you to have the most enjoyable experience in the city. Choose a fully furnished apartment where you can have access to all the amenities and enjoy the city during the day and take time to relax and rest at the end of the day.

Winding Up!

Lisbon is home to some of the most beautiful architecture and the city has a lot to enjoy. As mentioned earlier, Lisbon is home to a large expat community. Even if you are not traveling with a group, you will find a lot of people who have been living in the city for a while and therefore have tons of connections with others, like you. So you don’t have to worry too much about fitting in with the local culture, because they’ve already done it!
