Vegan Food At Tree On 3 Shopping Mall, Rama 3

We usually use public transport to get around Bangkok, including the BRT, which is a bus that has dedicated road lanes. It’s great for exploring the less visited areas of Bangkok. We often get off at random stations to have a look around, which is how we discovered the Tree On 3 shopping mall, which has an excellent food court.

Tree On 3 is a small, renovated shopping mall on Rama 3 Road that’s conveniently located right next to Charoenrat BRT station. This mall has a range of restaurants, with a popular food court at the basement level.

The vegan food stall is easy to find, and the food always looks freshly cooked. There is usually a choice of 8 hot dishes that can be served with rice. They also have cooked to order noodles available.

The choice of dishes changes every day, so you won’t get bored with the food, even if you come here often.

The prices are typical for a food court, with one dish and rice costing 35 baht, two dishes costing 45 baht and three costing 50 baht. You get big portions as well.

UPDATE (APRIL 2018): The vegan stall at the food court has now closed down, but the same owners run the vegan stall at the MaxValu supermarket upstairs. There is a bigger choice of food, plus they cook a large range of meals to order.

On the first floor of the mall there is a MaxValu supermarket that has a small food court at the back of the store. This also has vegan food available, and they have a menu that’s available in both Thai and English. There is quite a large choice of cook to order food available.

MaxValu Food Court (Vegan Stall)

There is usually a choice of around 15 dishes that can be had with rice. Above, the three choices with rice cost just 55 baht (under $2). The choice of food is very good for such a small food court.

If you enter MaxValue through the main door, the food court will be on the left at the back. You buy coupons at the small desk at the entrance, and then order tour food and pay with the coupons. You can get a refund for unused coupons.

The signs above the food stalls are only in Thai, but the vegan stall has a menu that’s in both Thai and English. If you order from the menu, the meals are cooked to order. you can also choose from the food on display. In the photo above, the left hand stall is for drinks, then the next two are the vegan stall. It’s the biggest stall there, so you can’t miss it.
