Broccoli Revolution, Bangkok - Vegan Restaurant

When I first visited Bangkok many years ago, there wasn’t a great choice of restaurants for vegan and vegetarian food, but things have changed dramatically in recent years. Nowadays the choice is much larger, and the quality is getting world class. Recently we visited one of the best vegan restaurants in the city, Broccoli Revolution.

The restaurant is very close to Thong Lo BTS station, so is easy to get to. It’s on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 49, which is the road that leads to Samitivej Hospital.

The restaurant has a very laid-back and relaxing vibe, and is flooded with light from the huge windows. Whenever we’ve been it’s been pretty busy. As well as the main seating on the ground floor, there are also two separate update alcoves that have more private seating.

The restaurant is a little different from usual in the way you place your order. Once you are seated you’ll be given a menu, and then when you’re ready you walk up to the counter to order and pay for your meal. The serving staff then bring the food to your table.

As well as appetizers, main dishes, salads and desserts, this place also sells awesome fresh juices, tea, coffee, beer and wine. On Tuesdays between 6 and 8 pm they have a “buy one get one” offer on some of their wines and beers.

We are thinking of moving to Thong Lo for a month or two, so we’ll probably become regulars here. Highly recommended.
