Nop Nan Vegan Restaurant, Charoenkrung Soi 57, Bangkok

We discovered a new vegan restaurant last week and we were very impressed by the menu, which had over 100 dishes. This place is only a few minutes walk from Saphan Taksin BTS station, so it’s very easy to get to. Also check out the best vegetarian restaurants in Bangkok.

We loved the food here. There is some pre-cooked food at the front of the cafe, but you really should try something from the menu. This is one of the best choices of vegan and vegetarian food that I’ve seen in Bangkok.

Above is Fried Fish With Curry Paste Sauce and Chinese Kale With Seaweed, as well as two other dishes that I forgot to note down. Any mention of fish or meat on the menu is taken to mean the vegan version.

As you can see above, this is quite a small place. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak a little English. But the menu is also in English and has photos of every dish, so choosing what to eat is easy.

There are pages and pages of dishes like those above. There are Japanese, Thai and Italian dishes, and a few others as well.

The photos of the sushi made me wonder if it was real fish, but it’s all vegan.

Above is their business card, which shows how to get to the shop. From Saphan Taksin BTS station, head for Charoenkrung Soi 57. Turn into the road and you’ll see the shop on the right hand side. You can’t miss it, as it has lots of bright yellow flags outside.
