We use Bangkok as our base for traveling, so have visited countless cafes here. We have decided to start documenting these, partly to help others and partly as a reminder for ourselves. I usually drink hot Americano, so I’ll use that to compare prices between the cafes.
This guide is split into general locations around Bangkok so that you can more easily find what you’re looking for. This page will be updated often, so check back for updates. We have a separate post for the best all-night cafes in Bangkok.
Cafes Around Sathorn Sois 10 & 12
Sathorn Sois 10 & 12 have become very hip, with a range of high quality cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars. We spend a lot of time in the neighborhood.
[Not Just] Another Cup
[Not Just] Another Cup is one of my favorites for both coffee and food. The coffee there is excellent, as is the food. This cafe is open every day from 07:00 until 19:00. It does healthy breakfasts, cold pressed juices, smoothies and awesome lunches.
This is my favorite meal there, Crispy Salmon with Warm Kale Salad. This costs around 400 baht. Monday to Friday lunchtimes (11:00-14:00) they have a special lunch menu, which includes a main meal and coffee for around 280 baht.
The Avocado Bowl above is my favorite breakfast treat. It is basically a smoothie made from avocado, spinach, soy milk and mango, topped with coconut granola, strawberries and blueberries. Very yummy indeed.
Is this the best coffee shop in Bangkok? It just may be the one.
