Bangkok Airport Buses – From Suvarnabhumi & Don Mueang

Most cities around the world have buses running from their airports to the city centers, but it’s only recently that shuttle buses have become available from both of Bangkok’s airports – Suvarnabhumi & Don Mueang. There is also a shuttle bus that runs between them.

Shuttle Bus S1 From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) To Khao San Road & Sanam Luang

This is a 35-seater aircon bus that runs from 06:00 until 20:00 and costs just 60 baht ($1.50)

Pick-up Point: Gate 7 on 1st floor

Stops: Khao San Road & Sanam Luang

Fare: 60 baht ($1.70)

Times: Every 30 minutes from 06:00 until 20:00

Shuttle Bus A1 From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) To BTS Mo Chit & Mo Chit Bus Terminal

This bus is great to get if your hotel is near a BTS station or if you’re traveling out of Bangkok by bus.

Pick-up Point: Gate 6 on 1st floor of Terminal 1 & Gate 12 on first floor of Terminal 2

Stops: Mo Chit BTS Station & Mo Chit Bus Terminal

Fare: 30 baht ($0.85)

Times: Every 12 minutes from 07:00 until 23:00

Shuttle Bus A2 From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) To Victory Monument

This bus is great if your hotel is near a BTS station between Mo Chit & Victory Monument.

Pick-up Point: Gate 6 on 1st floor of Terminal 1 & Gate 12 on first floor of Terminal 2

Stops: Saphan Kwai, Ari, Sanam Pao & Victory Monument BTS Stations

Fare: 30 baht ($0.85)

Times: Every 30 minutes from 07:00 until 23:00

Shuttle Bus A3 From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) To Pratunam & Lumphini Park

This bus is ideal if your hotel is located right in the center of the city.

Pick-up Point: Gate 6 on 1st floor of Terminal 1 & Gate 12 on first floor of Terminal 2

Stops: Soi Rangnam, Big C Ratchadamri, Ratchadamri BTS Station & Lumphini Park

Fare: 50 baht ($1.50)

Times: Every 30 minutes from 07:00 until 19:00, then every 60 minutes from 19:00 until 23:00

Shuttle Bus A4 From Don Mueang Airport (DMK) To Khao San Road & Sanam Luang

This bus is obviously the one to choose if you’re headed to the backpacker district of Khao San Road

Pick-up Point: Gate 6 on 1st floor of Terminal 1 & Gate 12 on first floor of Terminal 2

Stops: Wat Ratchanatdaram, Wat Bowonniwet, Khaosan Road & Sanam Luang

Fare: 50 baht ($1.50)

Times: Every 30 minutes from 07:00 until 19:00, then every 60 minutes from 19:00 until 23:00

Shuttle Bus Between Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) & Don Mueang Airport (DMK)

If you need to travel between airports, this is the bus for you.

Pick-up Point (Suvarnabhumi): Gate 3 on 2st floor

Pick-up Point (Don Mueang): Gate 5 on 1st floor of Terminal 1 & Gate 14 on first floor of Terminal 2

Fare: Free if you have a flight booked

Times: Every 30 minutes from 05:00 until 24:00, except every 12 minutes from 08:00 until 11:00 & from 16:00 until 19:00
